About the event

The evening will feature 5 young artists from the latest edition of Crescendo, an event organized by the Conseil jeunesse francophone de la C.-B, followed by a performance by Rhéal Poirier, and finally, Amay Laoni will close the night with her Rock n Roll touch.

Amay Laoni:

Amay Laoni is hailed as "one of the most talented singer-songwriters of her generation." Through her captivating and comforting lyrics, Amay Laoni addresses themes of emancipation, female power, and empowerment. Her style is reminiscent of that of "Christine and the Queens", and fans of French electro-pop will be delighted.

Rhéal Poirier:

Originally from New Brunswick, he left Acadia and settled in Montreal where he studied singing, piano, and composition. After his studies, he headed west for a trip to Vancouver and decided to stay.

Marie Bukuru Kimwemwe:

Known as Bukuru or Mk, Marie Bukuru Kimwemwe is about to complete her 12th year at Jules Verne High School in June 2024, and the local artist continues to flourish. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, the young woman has a passion for Afrobeat dance, musical composition, harmonies, and above all, singing.

Marley Morales:

Marley Morales is passionate about music, and it's always on her mind. The 16-year-old music lover hums and taps her foot whenever she hears a musical tone that catches her attention. She loves how certain chords can make a melody so beautiful. These subtleties fascinate her.

La Frange Group:

Juan, Clément, Nehemiah, and Brianna form a group of four young multi-instrumentalists (vocals, drums, guitar, and piano) from Colombia and France, proudly representing cultural diversity. They are united by their passion for music in all its forms. They have never taken music lessons, but that has never stopped them from being talented and disciplined.
