BEAU NECTAR

8 PM

Beau Nectar is a collaboration between two bilingual singer-songwriters separated by miles of forests, rivers, mountains, and prairies.

Marie-Clo, a British Columbian by choice and originally from Franco-Ontarian roots, and Fransaskoise artist éemi deliver an intimate, vibrant, and surreal electronic pop sound, with lyrics inspired by flora and fauna that awaken empathy for nature in their listeners. The duo released their debut album “Two Lips” on June 2, 2023, with Indica Records, and are set to release their first English-language album, “Dandy”, in 2026. The first single from the project, “Apple”, was released on March 4.

Since the launch of their album in 2023, the project has been growing rapidly — with several cross-Canada tours, including one with the prestigious Coup de cœur francophone network in 2023, opening performances for Daniel Bélanger, Fanny Bloom, and Pierre Kwenders, as well as a nomination at the Gala Alternatif de la musique indépendante du Québec (2024).

In 2025, they received the Pop Artist of the Year award at the Saskatchewan Music Awards and earned 10 nominations at the Trille Or Awards.

MISSY D

9 PM

Missy D is bilingual female emcee who has been rapping since age 11, flowing seamlessly in both French and English. Born in Rwanda, with roots in Côte d’Ivoire and Zimbabwe, she embodies the rich cultural diversity of the motherland. Her self-coined genre, “Rap & Soul,” blends hip-hop, R&B, soul, jazz, and rock, inspired by icons like Missy Elliott, MC Solaar, Diam’s, Lauryn Hill, and J. Cole.

Now based in Vancouver, Missy D is a multifaceted artist: a proud member of Laydy Jams and a performer known for her electrifying and charismatic stage presence. Her live shows, backed by a dynamic hip-hop band, captivate audiences of all ages with her authenticity, blending vocals, emotion, dance, and even a little French for everyone to practice together!

Missy D has performed at top festivals like South by South West (SXSW), North by North East (NXNE) and the Vancouver Jazz Festival, sharing stages with legends such as Maestro Fresh Wes, Jully Black, Anderson Paak, The Sorority, Shaggy and the Snotty Nose Rez Kids. In 2024, she was named Francophone Artist of the Year by the Western Canadian Music Awards.

Her upcoming 2025 project, La Poursuite (“The Pursuit”) available on all streaming platforms reflects on perseverance, hope, and unity.  It features soft, nostalgic songs like “Une Chance,” powerful tracks like “J’avance,” slower-paced pieces such as “Prends Ton Temps,” and the crowd favorite “Matin Midi Soir,” a celebration of solidarity and presence. With over 85% of the EP in French, it marks a significant milestone in her francophone identity while remaining accessible to a broad audience — including French learners.

She’s hitting the road with La Poursuite: 1, 2, 3 on y va! (The Pursuite ; 1, 2, 3, let’s go !) with more than 40 performances scheduled in schools, festivals, and theatres across Canada. Her musical world is a space to dream, feel, learn, and grow — together.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience!
