"FRAGMENTS OF LOVE" EXHIBITION BY MAJIE LAVERGNE

From November 3 to December 17, artist Majie Lavergne will present his exhibition "Fragments of love" at Le Centre culturel. This series is all about love, a positive and hopeful response to the difficult times we are facing. The word L-O-V-E is entirely deconstructed and then rebuild into geometrical and organic shapes.

COUP DE COEUR FRANCOPHONE | FRED PELLERIN

The  27th edition of the Coup de coeur francophone de Vancouver has begun! We are opening this first evening with the famous storyteller Fred Pellerin. With over 3,000 performances throughout the francophone world to his credit, he will touch down in Vancouver to bring us "Un village en trois dés" [“a 3-D village”], a new story about his hometown, Saint-Élie-de-Caxton, and about its first postmistress.

COUP DE COEUR FRANCOPHONE | DE FLORE | LOUIS-JEAN CORMIER

For the second night of the Coup de Coeur, we open with the duo De Flore, followed by the rising star Louis-Jean Cormier! De Flore will present their first EP (Figure Déserte) [“Deserted figure”] , a landscape of electro-pop songs. Next on stage, the much-anticipated Louis-Jean Cormier, whom we finally have the pleasure of welcoming, to listen to his album "Quand la nuit tombe" [“When night falls’].

Vendôme is presented in the context of our collaboration with the Montreal-based music competition Les Francouvertes.
