Arnaud is a musician by passion who has also developed a music career as a pop singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist. He started music in his early years and then played in a band with high school friends for few years. He has been playing as solo artist ever since.
His album “Crescendo”, released in 2014, features a rock sound and bilingual lyrics. The show for this album was presented at the Vancouver Coup de coeur francophone in November 2014.
His double album “Momentum”, released in 2015, marks a return to his origins and to our past with a blend of acoustic and electronic pieces that preserve a bilingual approach. After the release of “Momentum”, Arnaud was nominated for the 2016 Western Canadian Music Awards in the category Francophone Artist of the Year.
In 2018, Arnaud released the album “Rendez-Vous”, a celebration of the convergence of cultures, political persuasions, friendships, family ties or impromptu connections, momentary encounters. One example of such a moment was the first-time presentation on stage of the album itself, without prior recording, at a concert at the Vancouver Academy of Music, and then at the Vancouver Festival d'été francophone in June 2019.
His latest album, “Fragile”, was recorded and produced at Loig's Music Lab in Vancouver in June 2021. “Quelqu'un” (“Someone”) is the first single in a series of four songs released at the beginning of 2022, as a preamble to the album’s release. So this is a new show, derived from this latest album, that will be presented at the 33rd edition of the 2022 Vancouver Festival d’été francophone. These new songs reflect our very unusual existence over the past two years. Arnaud celebrates the fragility of our lives, our relationships, what we share, and our happiness in being together. So many things that we have taken for granted but that have become so much more complicated. We must appreciate every moment for what it is in this fragile world around us.
