FRANCOPHONE
BOOK CLUB
Do you enjoy reading? If you appreciate Francophone literature and would like to engage in discussions about it, join us for our monthly Francophone Book Club!
Themes, genres, literary movements, and specific books or authors can all be elements that shape these captivating discussions guided by Mélanie Fossourier.
Although recommended, reading the book is not necessary; excerpts will be available at Le Centre.
The activity is suitable for all levels of French and helps to develop public speaking, as well as listening skills. The Francophone Book Club is held one Monday per month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Le Centre culturel.
Francophone Book CLub themes:
-
APRIL 22: "La moustache" from Emmanuel Carrère

Free activity hosted by Melanie Fossourier.
Living in Vancouver with her family for two and a half years, Mélanie has a Master of Modern Litterature and a Language degree from La Sorbonne University. She dedicates her life to novel writing and reading.
