Exhibition
From September 7th to October 15th
Karine Guyon
The work of Karine Guyon is inspired as much by an irrevocable past as ideologies yet to come. Her work blends innovation and experimentation and invites the process of decomposition to orchestrate the encounter between the medium and colours. By observing the decline of the medium, this silent sigh where forms and consistencies begin to lose their definition, the artist seeks to free herself from the constraints imposed by the structure of the canvas. So it is a liberating work, one that also seeks to mitigate the effects of industrialisation, technology and silence on our subconscious minds. The artist aims to surpass the limits set in the individual and collective spirit... Not a small undertaking ! The opening for this show will take place on Wednesday, September 8th from 7 pm to 9 pm in the lobby of Le Centre. Wine and cheese will be served. |
From October 18th to November 26th SergeBennathan
From theatrical directing to writing, with a sidestep into the joys of choreography, artist Serge Bennathan is the author of a moving and vaired body of work, all the more prolific for having entered into the realm of painting as well. Following the sweep of the brush, the dimensions created are lightly suspended on the canvas, and our eyes follow the dancing glance of their shapes and colours. A poetics of humour and reverie emanates from this exhibition under the aegis of dream and imagination.
The opening for this show will take place on Monday, October 18th from 7 pm to 9 pm in the lobby of Le Centre. Wine and cheese will be served. |
From November 29th to January 7th Catherine Roland

Artist Catherine Roland’s paintings are a composition of travels, feelings and discoveries. Whether she is working in oils or pastels, the artist shares with us her acute sense of observation and her taste for new horizons. Forms and colours leap from the canvas, giving these paintings an optimistic colouring. Taking On a trajectory through Asia, South America, passing through the Middle East, the viewer senses the depth and richness of a work that is an invitation to see the world.
The opening for this show will take place on Monday, November 29th from 7 pm to 9 pm in the lobby of Le Centre. Wine and cheese will be served. |
