Takes culture to heart

Incorporated in 1974, the Vancouver Francophone Cultural Centre has for its mandate, as it is stipulated in its status and by-laws:

• To organize shows in French and exhibitions of the work of Francophone and Francophile artists to cultivate an appreciation for the arts among Vancouverites. (For more information: exhibitions, Festival d’été francophone, Coup de Cœur francophone, new stage)
• To promote education by offering French-language educational services and programs to residents of the Vancouver metropolitan area (library, video library, language courses, summer camp, etc.)
• To promote public participation in the Centre’s activities.
• To acquire and manage the property required for the Centre’s activities
