![]() Flash Back on a coup de coeur
With the "5fois5" project already in the offing, let's take a retrospective look at the 13th season of the Coup de cœur francophone. The Petite-Vallée singers opened the festival with a moving concert that swept the spectators off their feet. Songs by the singer-songwriter-composers of the group "Chanson pour 4 divans" delighted the younger audiences at the two concerts held at Kitsilano High School as much as they pleased the grown ups in the cozy atmosphere of the Anza Club. JP Leblanc had the crowd at the Yale in a state of frenzy with a show that got them dancing to the blues rhythms of his guitar. This 13th season of the "Coup de cœur" festival finished on a high note on Thursday, November 29 at the Ironworks with a performance by Belgium's artist Saule, whose songs are both funny and nostalgic. It was a very successful season with performances in various venues in Vancouver. If you wish to know more about the Festival Coup de coeur, visit: www.coupdecoeur.qc.ca |

Every year! Every month in November, Coup de coeur francophone presents in Vancouver a series of concerts celebrating Francophone music and songs. This label of Coup de coeur originated in Montreal in 1997, as a statement of our attachment to Francophone culture and music. Today, different art presenters in Canada use this label for a series of concerts that are organized independently, but are united in this desire to celebrate the arts through music and songs in the French language. Le Centre created the Coup de coeur francophone concerts in Vancouver in 1995. |
